We can all play a role in the fight against homelessness and poverty

There really isn’t an easy way to solve homelessness because the causes of homelessness are complex and vary from individual to individual. But we can all play a role in the fight against homelessness.

There are plenty of heartbreaking stories where homelessness has resulted from a relationship breakdown and a run of bad luck. Anyone’s personal circumstances have the potential to deteriorate very quickly and homelessness definitely can happen to anyone…

It was after meeting people who’d lost everything that I decided to set up and run a charity called CEO Sleepout. It’s purpose is to raise awareness of homelessness and also to generate funds which can be used to help improve the lives of those who’ve lost everything.

CEO Sleepout is a simple and lean charity that puts on sleepout events at venues all over Britain – from Wembley Stadium to Lord’s Cricket Ground. Right now I’m looking to recruit new executives and business owners who’ll help the cause by joining their local sleepout – sleeping rough for just one night – at one of the various venues across the UK.

Will you help? Or do you anyone who might like to help me to fight homelessness and poverty by joining a sleepout? Let me know.

Thanks for reading this.
