Andy Preston speaks to the North East Times about his work


Andy Preston is a businessman and philanthropist who traded in his career as a stockbroker and hedge fund manager to devote his life to helping others. Now the brains behind a number of charities in his hometown of Middlesbrough, Andy works to tackle poverty and give those in need a chance. His work includes setting up a not-for-profit restaurant to provide jobs for the vulnerable and unemployed, as well establishing a dry bar for recovering addicts.

He recently spoke to the North East Times about how his past work has moulded his business acumen and how he continuously strives to be innovative in his charity work, including his idea to make CEO Sleepout its own charity. You can read the full interview here at North East Times.
